Over the last number of years the owner has invested a considerable amount of time and money to bring this vessel back to top shape. Rebuild included deadwood, horn timber and sternpost; six strakes up from the bottom all was replaced with mahogany--almost all frames have been sistered- all new fastenings are of silicon bronze - and floor timbers are of new oak - and the douglas fir decks have been canvassed over. The owner installed a new Yanmar 3 cylinder engine which has about 200 hrs. on it. Every deck fitting and piece of hardware is bronze which includes a very powerful bronze wormgear for the steering. Other than the addition of a modern diesel engine and up to date electronic navigation equipment, this vessel is back to her former self. The entire restoration project took about 6 years.
Sails include a main and self tending jib- both water and fuel tanks are SS 20-25 gal.
The boat sits on a full size heavy duty trailer.
. The restoration was completed in July of 2008 and has been in the water each season since.
Owner has all documentation regarding the re-build, including the original drawings.
