This 2001 (commissioned in 2003) 36' Northern Bay was built on the classic Spencer Lincoln-designed commercial lobster hull and finished to a custom yacht standard by West Bay Boats of Steuben, Maine. The result is a comfortable, stable Downeast cruiser with excellent range at displacement speeds and efficient performance at fast cruise.

She features a flybridge with full controls for easy handling and relaxed fair-weather cruising. Power is a Yanmar 6CXM 465 HP--fully rebuilt by a certified Yanmar dealer--providing an 18-knot comfortable cruise, with over 3 NMPG when throttled back to displacement speed. A newer Fischer Panda 4 kW generator supplies reliable onboard power.

With generous fuel and freshwater capacity, plus an Espar diesel heater for extended-season comfort, she is well-suited for long-range cruising. The layout is ideal for a cruising couple, offering a forward master stateroom and a convertible dinette for additional guest accommodations.
