Repco was one of Maine's early fiberglass lobster boat builders, operating in Gouldsboro from approximately 1967 to 1987. The Repco 37 was developed by the company's founders as a traditional Downeast working hull, with a relatively narrow 12'6" beam and 3' draft. Known for its efficient hull form, manageable size and versatility, the Repco 37 has a long history in Maine's commercial lobster fishery, with many examples subsequently rebuilt, repowered or converted for recreational use. This 1988 example is powered by a Cummins QSL9 405 HP diesel and reportedly cruises at 15 knots, with a top speed of 20 knots.
