Original owner. This straight inboard boat was custom built in 1998 specifically for charter fishing in
Southern Maine. Primarily fishing for Striped Bass within 50 feet of rocky islands and sandy beaches. The
boat features a full keel and bronze skeg. Typical with Downeast style hulls, the boat is very comfortable
and stable in most sea conditions. Top speed is 30mph and cruises easily at 24mph.
A new engine and transmission was installed in 2008. The engine oil has been changed every 100 hours
with full synthetic grade oil. The engine is fresh water cooled. Both the engine and transmission are in
good working condition. Engine and transmission have about 3800hrs.
The deck was also replaced in 2008. There are no soft spots on the deck. The deck and rails are coated
with an aggressive non-skid surface. The deck/hull has a clean out port to allow the captain to clear rope
and other debris from propellor and/or shaft.
As a full time charter fishing vessel, the boat has a large round full circulation livewell system mounted
at the bow. There are TWO separate pumps that can be switched on or off in less then 20 seconds in the
event of a pump failure. This is so the valuable live bait does not die in a pump failure scenario. The
pumps are controlled by circuit breaker switches.
The boat has numerous flush mount rodholders from bow to stern mounted on the rails, including (4)
swivel base tuna rod holders. There are also 16 aluminum rocket launcher rodholders on the T-top.
The boat has been kept in storage since October 2019. We decided not to run charters in 2020 due to
the pandemic, and the ramifications that went along with that. We pulled the boat out of Storage on
May 26th 2021, and it fired right up. Every fall since day one we have always removed all fuel, and gone
to great measures to winterize the engine properly. Always start with brand new fuel in the Spring.
