35' Freedom Sloop - SOLD
The Freedom 35 has quality construction both above and below decks. With her carbon fiber freestanding mast and a winged keel, the Freedom 35 is a great sailing boat. She is easy to sail, effortless to tack, and does surprising well with her upwind performance. This boat will tack with ease with the oversized Edson wheel. Both the main and the 100% genoa are self tailing, and which means easy going on the crew. She has a roomy cockpit and the interior space of a 40 footer (with two private staterooms) this will be a great family boat.

Accommodation
Entering down the companionway, the "L" shaped galley is located to port. It features a gimballed 2 burner Propane Stove/Oven, double stainless steel sinks on and a proper sized ice box. There are several storage lockers outboard for provisions. There is a large head compartment located to starboard with a separate shower stall. Opposite the galley to starboard is a dedicated navigation desk with AC/DC distribution and panel mounted electronics.
There is a long settee berth to starboard in the main salon with outboard storage as well as under the settee. To the portside is a comfortable "L" settee with more storage outboard. The table is a double leaf that folds up and out of the way mounted to the forward bulkhead.
The boat is set up with cruising accomodations for seven people, 2 forward, 3 in the main cabin and 2 in the aft. There are two private staterooms in the boat, a nicely sized V-Berth with filler forward and a second stateroom aft. The Aft stateroom is located just aft of the galley on the portside. Both staterooms have good light and ample hanging storage which show nicely with lots of beautiful cherry cabinetry throughout.
Mechanical
The boat's powerplant is a Perkins 30 hp diesel which is housed under the main salon seating. The engine has fresh water cooling, a sea water strainer, and a lighted engine instrument panel in cockpit. The engine's is positioned in the center section of the boat, which keeps the weight down low and in the middle of the boat, right where you want it. The Manual head has a plastic holding tank with waste discharge overboard or deck pumpout selected by a Y valve.
