BLUE GOOSE II was extensively refit by Nauset Marine in 1993 for the previous owner of 20 years who constantly enjoyed improving this downeast yacht. The house was lengthened by 2 feet. A new hardtop was added over the cockpit, covering about 3/4s of the aft deck. The refit included a new galley, custom interior lockers, pantry, hanging lockers and deep storage spaces. All well thought out and easily accessible. A new head space was designed with marine toilet, sink and shower. All new aluminum windows with Vetus foam seal strip. The decks were reworked and painted in 2005. Cabin and flybridge were awlgripped in 2007. Hull awlgripped light beige. An efficient refrigeration system was also added during this tenure.

The current owners of the past 4 years have also enjoyed improving this yacht in addition to cruising the east coast with the following new work: electric windlass and all chain rode, all teak dingy davits, Force 10 propane range, propane storage box, inverter, new Garmin 741 XS GPS/Radar, and GPS on flybridge to name the most significant.

Design by Royal Lowell, this spacious downeast yacht has a very comfortable cockpit that measures 10' x 12' with three quarters cover by hard overhead. The salon is bright and airy with large windows and sliding glass door aft. The galley is a step down and yet still a part of the salon conversation, with lots of pantry and storage space adjacent and a sliding window for ventilation over the counter. Going forward, a large enclosed head to stbd, with shower. Abundant storage and lockers with a large V berth forward.

Re-powered in 2001 with a Yanmar 350 HP diesel, now only 2285 hours since new.

Cruise 14k knots at approx 10-12gph, or 8 knots at 2 gph. Max speed on sea trial 23 knots by GPS
