Wesmac Custom Boats of Surry, Maine has been building custom Downeast boats since 1984 and is well known for combining traditional Maine lobster boat lines with a hard-chined hull designed for stability, seakeeping and performance. The Wesmac 38 remains a current model and is offered by the builder in both commercial lobster and sportfishing configurations. Wesmac lists the 38 at 38'8" LOA with a 12'8" beam and 4'2" draft.
This 2016 Wesmac 38 combines both sides of that heritage - a commercial lobster boat layout with a 14" hauler while also being rigged for offshore tuna fishing with an under-deck fish hold, tuna door and rod holders. The split wheelhouse, V-berths, refrigerator, microwave and stove provide considerably more comfort than a basic working lobster boat, making her well suited to commercial fishing, tuna fishing or recreational Downeast use.Contact Brokers
