43' Mason - Cutter Rig - SOLD

The Mason 43 was designed by Al Mason and built by the Ta Shing Yard to Lloyds +100A1 Specifications. She is designed as a traditional full keel "Blue Water" cruiser suitable for any crossing.
The Mason 43, is one of the most sought after cruising boats available. She was built by the Tai Shing yard to very high standards. The lines of a Mason are beautiful, with their high bow, flowing sheerline and graceful overhangs./

When you consider her traditional full keel, and her double-spreader cutter rig, powered by 900 sq feet of sail, you will find she is a sailing machine up to the task of offshore work.

Vessel walk through
Teak and holly cabin sole throughout. The interior is finished in hand-rubbed satin varnished teak. There are 3 large opening overhead hatches with screens, 13 opening bronze ports with screens, deck prisms and 5 dorade cowl ventilators. Sleeps four in two staterooms, and will accommodate an additional four on the convertible dinette, Settee, pilot berth and "Sea berth". The upper and lower seaberth to starboard pullout for larger berths. This boat has generous headroom in all cabins.

As you enter the cabin down the off centered companionway steps, tucked into starboard is an aft facing navigation station. There is a chart table, seat, drawer storage, shelving and electronics installation.

Opposite the Nav station is the U-shaped galley is to port, with lots of storage and a double SS sink. The galley was also upgraded in 2007 to a new Seafrost BD refrigeration unit. All the way aft is the owners cabin with a double berth to port and a single berth to starboard, and a hanging locker in between. There is more storage under and shelving outboard both berths.

In the Main Cabin, a large U-shaped settee with table to port and a settee is opposite to starboard with a pilotberth above. There is plenty of stowage under and above both settees. Access to the engine, mechanical systems, and bilge is in under cabin teak and holly sole.

Forward, is a large head with separate shower to port, opposite a generous locker that also houses the air conditioning unit. Further forward is the guest cabin, with a large off centered double berth, drawer storage under the berth and hanging locker to starboard.
