Built in 1974 and constructed with heavy oak frames on 8" centers and heavy cedar carvel planking

The enclosure on the flying bridge is completely removable leaving just her original flying bridge. Note the very pleasing deck line, cabin structure and flying bridge. Classic!
Caterpillar D334 Turbo Diesel 340HP, 6 Cyl Cat reduction gear 3:1 Cruise at 9.5 kts at 1400 rpm burning 5 gph. Just under 500 hours on the newly rebuild engine and reinstalled by Caterpillar by a previous owner. Max hull speed rated at 17 knots.

Walking in, there is a Galley and Dinette on port side. Pull out sofa (sleeps 2) and lower helm on starboard side. Down below is head with full size shower on starboard side. Hanging locker and bunk beds with plenty storage is on port side. Forward id V-Berth with under berth storage and desk. Rope/Chain Locker with easy access.
It is setup for extended cruising and sleeps six easily.

Marine AC/Heat
1 (44lb) Delta Fast Set Anchor with 30ft chain and 600ft line (300 ft brand new purchased 08.2013) and 1. Manual boat windlass Hamilton Style. Numerous dock lines and fenders.
A major refit was done on the hull to include a new structural transom with mahogany cover boards in 2006.
New sacrificial keel "shoe" added in Oct 2013. Bottom was stripped/sanded to the bare wood and repainted Nov 2013. Seams were inspected and repaired as needed. Hull painted Oct 2013.
Decks are plywood with fiberglass over it and have been covered with Non Skid/Kiwi Grip (11.2012) to protect them from damage.
Aft deck cover/sundeck restored to new condition (new plywood) 07.2013. Sundeck (aft) has complete safety railing. Interior is in good condition.

We sold "Grace" to her present owners, they have lovingly restored her, and now in the best condition she has been in since they bought her in 2010. While they wish to sell soon to reduce their expenses, more importantly Grace is sold to a new owner that can appreciate her heritage, the quality of construction, and ability to keep taking this rugged downeast cruiser in the right direction of fit, finish and restoration.
